Project Manager - PV

As a member of the Italian based team, the PV Project Manager will be responsible of planning, executing, and commissioning of large-scale PV construction projects throughout Italy. As a senior member of EPC team, the PV Project Manager is expected to play a leadership role in the support and management of solar projects in the country. This position will report to the Technical Director of Italy.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Management of the PV projects since RTB until COD.
• Plan, monitor and manage the project scope, program, budget, staff organization, quality and contract conformance throughout the procurement and construction stage.
• Support to negotiate EPC and O&M contracts, service provider and equipment supplier agreements.
• Manage and coordinate integrated working of project workstreams i.e. construction management, technical management, project controls, investment, procurement, HSSE, quality assurance and legal.
• Identify, implement, and monitor improvement and/or corrective actions throughout project management (risks, schedule, scope, cost, quality, safety).
• Approve project documentation.
• Manage projects handover between EPC and O&M.
• Manage project compliance with applicable laws, regulations, codes and standards.
• Manage communication and co-ordination between project stakeholders

Qualifications and Requirements

• BSc/MSc in electrical, industrial, civil or mechanical with more than 5 years in utility-scale energy projects
• Experience in Solar
• Experience in Italian DNO/TSO network
• Proficient knowledge of Italian and English language (Spanish is valuable)
• Ability to live and work in Italy
