A leading manufacturer of roller machines for over 55 years engineering design, produces and markets laminators, gluing machine. All machines are designed and assembled at the company's site in north of Milan. As a global player is present worldwide and supplies its customers all around the globe with more than 80% of production exported. In order to strengthen our team, we are recruiting a Sales Engineer to join our Italy/foreign sales department.
His main mission will be the development of the company commercial activity through the sale of industrial
machines and the development of our customer portfolio.
In details the main activities are:
- Analysis of commercial opportunities, technical advice and pre-sales recommendations.
- Drafting of written offers.
- Review of contracts, negotiation of prices, quantities and delivery times, ensuring margin optimisation.
- Follow-up of customers during sales projects.
- Prospecting the Italian and European markets, with trips to be planned in these areas.
- Identification and development of new markets.
- Reporting to the management of the business.
- Participation in promotional fairs.
- At least 5 years experience in similar role.
- Commercial background with industrial experience, ideally with knowledge of gluing and laminating from
in the wood sector.
- Familiarity with the Office package and use of CRM.
- Knowledge of English to communicate with our foreign customers and internally within the group.
Other languages will be an advantage (German, French, Spanish...).
- Excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to create lasting relationships with customers based on trust.
- Negotiation and writing skills that make you the best ally during the sales and pre-sales phases.
- Proactive, autonomous and organised, your driving force is customer satisfaction.
