GENERAL MANAGER - ITALY Salary: Competitive and based on experience Location: Milano - Hinterland Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead their Italian branch.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a global player in the industrial machinery sector, where you will have the chance to shape the future of the company's operations in Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities, coordinating various functions, and maintaining key relationships with clients, suppliers, and intercompany stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership skills, a target-oriented mindset, and a passion for people management.

What you'll do:
As the General Manager for our client's Italian branch, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of their operations in Italy. You will manage all aspects of sales activities from pre-sales to post-sales, including key account management. Your ability to define sales forecasts and set challenging targets will be crucial in achieving budget goals. In addition to this, you will coordinate various functions such as Customer Service, Pre-Assembly, Administration and Marketing. Your role also includes supervising the operations of the Italian Branch office while ensuring correct application of processes and local policies. Lastly, you will be tasked with expanding local Sales activities while maintaining close contact with clients suppliers and intercompany stakeholders.

* Manage pre-sales, business development, post-sales activities, and key account management
* Define Sales Forecast and work towards achieving the budget by setting challenging targets for the sales workforce
* Coordinate Customer Service, Pre-Assembly, Administration and Marketing functions
* Supervise the operations of the Italian Branch office ensuring correct application of processes and local policies
* Be responsible for Budget Planning as well as Cost Control of the Branch Office
* Maintain, Develop and Expand local Sales activities while keeping close contact with clients suppliers and intercompany stakeholders
