Collection Merchandising Manager

COLLECTION MERCHANDISING MANAGER (WOMAN RTW COLLECTION) Important fashion and luxury multinational is looking for a Collection Merchandising Manager to join its team. This person will be the strategic leader responsible for collection plans.

Job Mission:

The Woman RTW Collection Merchandising Manager will be responsible of the development of the collection, ensuring a consistent offer in terms of appeal, marketing and distribution worldwide. This person will ensure the best positioning in terms of product offer, according to the design vision.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development of the collection plan
• Analyse performance and follow product development through to sampling and present the collection to the entire sales force
• Analyse different product categories, measure results and make forecasts
• Participate in business planning and budgeting: coordinating internal and external resources for the optimization of the merchandising team activity
• Work closely with the planning and design team
• Analyse market needs and help define sales strategies
• Determine the positioning of a product category to optimize its visibility
• Collaborate with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional actions for a product category
• Supervising and managing the merchandising team
• Monitor sell-in and sell-out data per region during the season

Requirements:

• Experience in the fashion/sport/lifestyle industry in similar roles of at least 3 years
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Fashion or Marketing discipline
• Experience managing a team
• Excellent Knowledge of the fashion trends and market dynamics
• Strong retail math and analytical skills required
• Strong managing, communicating and leading skills
• Detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Dynamic and proactive attitude
• English Fluent. Knowledge of a second language would be a plus.
