Pre Sales Technician - Railway sector

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to defining and guiding the company’s sales strategy and policies, collaborating closely with the Product Specialist and coordinating with the Plant Manager as well as the sales and marketing teams.
- Identify and prioritize key products to promote within the current range or select those to be relaunched.
- Manage communications related to product launches and relaunches, ensuring effective promotion to the sales teams.
- Provide technical support to the sales force during targeted customer visits.
- Organize training sessions for sales teams on both existing and new flagship products.
- Coordinate demonstrations and sales development initiatives throughout the year in regions or countries where specific needs and new product promotion opportunities have been identified, including customer meetings alongside the responsible sales representatives.
- Collect customer feedback and collaborate with production plants and the technical department to develop new products or improve existing ones.
- Support sales teams in preparing for tenders or complex offers by engaging with customers in advance to ensure timely and accurate technical responses.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in technical offices and production plants within the railway sector.
- Excellent knowledge of railway rolling stock.
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Willingness to travel frequently, both within Italy and internationally, based on company and market needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Fluent in English.
Work Schedule:
- The position requires full-time, on-site presence (5 days a week).
